A letter from ReddRox President/CEO Lisa Marie
Drastic times call for drastic measures

It all started back in 1994. My mother and my newborn son were both being impacted by serious health problems directly related to chemicals. My mother was suffering from multiple chemical sensitivities and we had to take drastic measures to keep her safe and away from all of the chemicals that are out there that most of us seem immune to. It was truly a matter of life or death. Then, at 3 months, my son was diagnosed with anemia. Strangely enough my doctor prescribed one of the leading sports drinks. I was a good mom and followed the doctor's orders. Unfortunately, nothing worked. To make matters worse, he became dehydrated and was reacting very negatively to all of the chemicals in the sports drink.
I realized we had a serious problem.
Drastic times call for drastic measures. So from that day forward, I made a commitment to take control, first to solve these issues I was having with my family, and if I were successful, to share the solutions with the rest of the world. Because if I was having these problems, I thought there must be other people out there with the same or similar ones that could use the help. So the mission began. After aligning with some of the greatest doctors in our country I found something very interesting: not only did they have a lot of the answers that I was searching for, but a lot of them shared the same passion and conviction that I had to really find solutions and educate people.
In 2002, after a lot of research, a miracle happened. I stumbled upon an amazing plant from South Africa called Red Bush. This plant was loaded with high amounts of powerful antioxidants and was a hydration powerhouse.
My vision was to develop the first natural sports drink. I thought if I could hydrate 295-pound NFL football players naturally, these guys would be the best role models for our children and the rest of the world would take notice and follow in their footsteps.
Bottom line is, it's time. Not only are cancer rates increasing at an alarming rate globally, the worldwide obesity epidemic is at an all-time high. By making changes in our diet we can make a difference today and tomorrow!
